Are you concerned about your child's progress in school? Are you an adult with concerns about your work performance? Are you concerned about dyslexia, a writing disorder, or a math disorder? My name is Kim Cornwell and I provide evaluations with answers for clients ages 5 years to adult. My area of expertise is determining whether a person meets the criteria for a specific learning disorder in reading, writing, or math; including specific issues related to dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Specific learning disorders are often unexpected difficulties given an individual’s performance in other areas. The overall result of the assessment is a plan for leveraging strengths and removing any barriers the individual may be experiencing. I serve families in San Antonio and surrounding areas, including Boerne, Kerrville, Frederiksberg, Brady, and Mason.

My one-on-one assessment caters to the individual's personal strengths and needs, matching each individual's processing and academic needs to a flexible and effective instructional plan. If needed, I provide an education intervention plan and coaching for your child's private tutors or teachers, ongoing progress monitoring, and general support for families.
